Adhesive free flow cells are ideal for Flow Cytometry and other analytical systems using laser beam. Adhesive free "Optical contacting" is our proprietary direct fusion bonding technique. Because using no adhesives, the flow cells are chemical and heat resistive, their optical performance is very good.

Glass Bonding Technology
Optical Contact (Direct Fusion Bonding)*
The process is the core technology of Japan Cell. Using no adhesives, bonded surfaces are heat resistive as well as chemical resistive, having superior optical surface quality.
Furnace bonding using solder glass frit
Glass frit is sandwiched and fused at 600°C between two surfaces. The bonded surfaces are highly chemical resistive and the method enables larger size glass products.
UV Bonding via photo sensitive adhesive
A bonding agent is activated or cured by Ultra-Violet light. Ultra Violet cure also enables bonding glass and metal.
Fusion bonding by gas burner
Fusion bonding using gas burner requires long experience and exquisite craftsmanship. With or without lathe, various processes are enabled.
